American Soprano — Based in Berlin

American soprano Lauren Randolph Kirsch is a versatile and expressive artist whose high range has been described by The Maryland Theatre Guide as “strong and commanding.” She has appeared on stages throughout the United States and Europe and is increasingly active in Germany, where she performs both operatic and concert repertoire while developing collaborative artistic projects.
Her operatic roles include Helmwige in Wagner’s “Die Walküre”, Queen of the Night and Pamina in Mozart’s “Die Zauberflöte”, Frasquita in Bizet’s “Carmen”, Mabel in Gilbert and Sullivan’s “The Pirates of Penzance”, Antonia in Offenbach’s “Les contes d’Hoffmann”, Mary Crawford in Jonathan Dove’s “Mansfield Park”, and L’autre Sœur in Poulenc’s “Dialogues des Carmélites”.

Ms. Randolph Kirsch has collaborated with companies and institutions including Lyric Opera Studio of Weimar, Bel Cantanti Opera, The In Series, Maryland Lyric Opera, the Franco-American Vocal Academy, the Spokane Symphony, and New York Dramatic Voices, among others. Recent European engagements have included performances at Schlosstheater Rheinsberg, concerts in Coesfeld, Germany, and she was a 2024 Resident Artist with the Belcanto Academy Opera Studio in Italy. Recently she was awarded Third Prize in the 2026 International Mozart Competition Vienna.
Artistic Projects
Alongside her performing career, Ms. Randolph Kirsch enjoys developing artist-driven performance projects. Recent collaborations include serving as Co-Producer for Scenica Opera’s Spring Scenes: Così fan tutte & Le nozze di Figaro in Berlin, as well as producing and performing curated recital programs that reflect her artistic interests and commitment to bringing classical music to diverse audiences
Education
Lauren Randolph Kirsch holds a Master of Music in Vocal Performance from the Peabody Conservatory of The Johns Hopkins University, where she received a graduate assistantship and was awarded the George Woodhead Prize in Voice for her outstanding contributions to the musical and educational life of the Conservatory. She continues to refine her bel canto technique through international study while maintaining an active performance career throughout Europe and the United States. Based in Berlin, she is drawn to repertoire that combines dramatic intensity with lyrical elegance, with a particular passion for Mozart, bel canto, and German opera.
